How will I get from the Airport to the Retreat Center?
Transportation to the Retreat Center is something you will have to arrange on your own. ATL airport is about 90 minutes from Winshape and there are several shuttle companies and taxi companies available. If you can get to the town of Rome GA we can arrange for someone to pick you up and bring you to the retreat. Once your registration is complete you will be added to a Secret FB Group for Conference attendees. This will give you a chance to get to know the other girls beforehand and team up with some of the local girls to possibly find rides.

What should I bring?
The weather in Atlanta this time of year is between 70's-80's. It should be just gorgeous! There will probably be a nip in the air at night though so I would strongly recommend a jacket or sweatshirt or two. This is the time to be comfy. It isn't a fashion show I promise! Bring things that make you feel relaxed and happy. Pretend you are packing the "comfort food" of your closet. On the opening night we will be having a Welcome Soirée so bring something a little more schmancy for that event.
Other than that, come as you are. Everything is taken care of once you are on retreat property. We will provide you with all that you will need for the sessions minus camera gear. You will probably want to bring that :) and a Bible... that would be a bonus.

What if I have to cancel?
Once you have purchased your seat it cannot be refunded. With a conference of this scale there are so many expenses, and we made our budget according to the number or registrations needed. Each seat sold is a vital part of seeing this vision come to fruition. If you are unable to attend and cannot find someone to take your place, please contact us ASAP. Chances are we know of someone who would gladly buy your seat from you.

I am a nursing mother, is the conference flexible enough to bring my baby?
This is a wonderful question, but it has a few parts to the answer. First of all, Congratulations!!! Mothering a newborn is such a joy and we are so excited for this season of your life. Secondly, the P31 Conference is completely flexible. We believe that it will be what you make it. The only required sessions are our evening worship/session, meal times and our morning devotional. The other classes are up to you. So as far as flexibility, it is absolutely possible.
The other part of this is that Winshape is an Exclusively 18 and older Retreat Center. To maintain the serene, quiet atmosphere, children under the age of 18 are simply not allowed on retreat property. If you would like to stay at a nearby hotel with a caregiver for your baby we would love to help you plan that. You are more than welcome to leave to take care of your baby during the day. Please contact us if you would like to do this and we will help you make the proper arrangements.

Can I have a private room? Yes you can. The cost for a private room is substantially more since we budgeted the conference on rooms and not attendees. With only a certain amount of rooms available for the conference we wanted as many women to be able to attend as possible. If a room is occupied by only one person it means that another person isn't able to attend. Because of this we strongly encourage room sharing and have set up the conference according to that ideal.

What if I live in Atlanta or have friends and family in the area and I'd like to stay with them?
The Pursuit 31 Conference is more than just a schedule of classes. It is an experience. It was designed as an escape from your normal day to day and a way for you to reconnect with God, yourself and other Christian women. We feel that it is crucial that all of the attendees stay at the retreat and experience the fullness of it. We want to have meals as a family, worship as a family and be drawn closer to Him together. Nursing Moms are the only exception to this rule.

Do you have payment plans? Yes! We only require $500 up front to reserve your seat. Your remaining balance will be due in full by August1st, 2012.

When should we book our flights for?
You can come to Atlanta and leave Atlanta at your leisure. Check in and Check out times are listed in the Schedule section. I would look that over and plan to arrive and depart accordingly.
